A sample of companies and bands we have served during the past years, a great number of these customers have been with us a long time, some since the beginning.Applications have been as diverse as they have been interesting: from temp 300kVA of UPS for a city bank - frequency converters for industry - to solving utility companies' problems.
Internet support
Customer reports failed UPS systems. Service company identify the fault. We are called by the service company, we collect and then deliver 128 no 12V batteries the next day.
Banking support
An 60kVA UPS system, 30 min battery complete with cable installed and on line in advance of customers deadline, 3 days from order date.
Entertainment support
A complete US standard power system for an band on tour in Australia. They required to power all their band equipment and some of their production at 120V 60Hz.
We design the systems required and deliver the solution. We assist in providing local engineering support.
Trading support
An urgent enquiry at 16:30 on Saturday from a large maintenance company requiring an engineer on site for a UPS problem (severe water ingress). Their previous support company could not provide a solution. We were there on time. We reconfigured the mains panel to single phase and resolved the problem.
Data Centre support
UPS failure causes great concern, we are called and less than 8 hours later we are on site with 250kVA of UPS with all cables required. Change over is all planned and documented. From start of switchover to finish takes 6 minutes; most of that time was paperwork and walking. Customer is back on line without a break to their load.
Fabrication support
A customer testing subsea equipment for their client calls with an urgent request for a 2 x 3kVA 230V UPS backups. Less than 12 hours after the order is confirmed, the fully certified tested UPS and distribution equipment is driven directly to his fabrication site in Scotland. The equipment arrives on site and is deployed without fuss, and the testing program continues without further incident.
Battery emergency
Nightime supply for of 70 no12V batteries for a customers UPS system, we are contacted at 21:30 - at 23:00, we load the truck with new batteries. Customer is back on line 3 hours later
City support
Twin 310kVA auto start sync and share generators, 6500m of flexible cable, distribution, plus a 300kVA UPS system and 10 min battery installed and working in a city bank within two weeks of order date. (A joint project with main contractor PoweRent)
New technology support
A customer prepares to present a demonstration of new television technology in Japan. They need to have US standard power with UPS backup. We plan and arrange everything. They arrive in Japan, where our equipment is delivered to them and collected after the event. All went well, the customer was very happy, and we were once again complemented on our outstanding support and service.

| Mark Knopfler | Design and build of dual voltage fully variable backline power distribution system. Designed to accept any common world voltage from 90V to 240V, with fully switchable primary windings. This supplies both 120V which is center tapped, and 240V which is conventionally configured. Both supplies are variac controlled which enables individual adjustment at any time the may be required. The system is supplied with comprehensive metering and full stage power distribution facilities. |
| Fleetwood Mac | Hire of custom built UPS/transformer/distribution solution to deliver 120V 60Hz for backline. The 6kVA UPS system was connected to the transformer through our unique switching system. Switching on the 4KW transformer would normally shut down the UPS, not when it passes through our new in-house designed switching system. Every day it started up and ran without incident. Fleetwood Mac also have very specific power requirements, we were delighted to be asked to help again. |
